About Bruce Sanford Day

Award-Winning Artist

Born and raised on an orange ranch in Orange County, California, Bruce has spent his entire life among the trees and hills of Southern California. His art showcases his love for that world. With well over two thousand pieces produced to date, Bruce is an award winning, internationally collected artist whose artwork belongs to such esteemed collectors as Joan Irvine Smith and Al Annenberg. His work has been included in museum exhibitions at the Long Beach Museum, the Pasadena Museum of History, and the Anaheim Museum. His painting of downtown Santa Ana opened the permanent collection of Plein Air Paintings by Living Artists at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.


Throughout his 50-year career, Bruce’s work has been represented in galleries all over the country. Currently, he enjoys showing his work from his own studio gallery in Orange County.  Please contact us to schedule a private showing or to inquire about a painting you are interested in.
